How to Become a CIA Agent in Florida

The State of Florida for long has been a playground for international intelligence agencies spying on vital US interests. During World War II, a Florida resident was convicted of spying for Nazi Germany. More recently, spies of Castro’s government in Cuba have been apprehended spying on anti-Castro Cuban-Americans living in Florida. The “Cuban Five” or “Miami Five” were arrested by the FBI in 1998. In 2000, George Trofimoff, a Russian-American was arrested in Tampa for spying for the Russian government. Then in 2006, Carlos and Elsa Alvarez were arrested for spying for Cuba’s Communist government.
In 2016, in what can be termed as a case of economic espionage, a Chinese woman living in Florida was arrested on charges of smuggling underwater drone parts from U.S. companies to a Chinese university that does military research. In short, Florida is in the line of fire of many international intelligence agencies. The importance of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the premier intelligence gathering and analyzing organization in the United States, can therefore not be overstated.
